Contact and scope
Mofei 3D is the brand of an independently operated personal 3D printing studio in Helsinki. This notice covers use of the website and enquiries you send to the studio. For questions about your information, contact 3d@mofei.life.
Information and purpose
We process your name, email, model or model link, and project details such as size, quantity, material, intended use and delivery preferences. We use this information to answer enquiries, prepare a quote and fulfil accepted orders. Necessary enquiry processing is based on steps taken at your request before a contract, and order processing on the contract. Legally required accounting records are retained to meet legal obligations.
The website draft and your email
The enquiry draft is prepared in your browser. Filling it in does not send information to the studio. The email link passes the text to your own email application; the copy button passes it to your clipboard. You send the message yourself and can attach your model file to it. Website file uploads and automatic AI pricing are not currently active. A person reviews the final quote.
Retention and deletion
If an enquiry does not become an order, it is closed and its model files are deleted 90 days after receipt. Models for active orders are retained during the work and deleted 90 days after the operator marks the order completed. Contact details for unconverted enquiries are anonymised 180 days after receipt; completed-order contact details are anonymised 180 days after the completion mark. Required accounting and payment records are retained separately under applicable law. Email copies require separate manual cleanup under the same retention policy.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion or restriction, and, where applicable, portability or object to processing. Deletion is not absolute, for example where records must be retained by law. Send requests to 3d@mofei.life; we may securely verify your identity. You can complain to the Finnish Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
Service providers and security
Cloudflare delivers and protects the website and processes the technical network information needed to do so. Communication takes place through email services. We do not use advertising pixels or publish your model without separate permission. Access to a model is limited to handling the enquiry and work. This notice will be updated before online uploads or a new service that processes your information is enabled. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive information.
